Arts at Canal Place is an artists' cooperative gallery representing over thirty area artists. Located in Downtown Cumberland, in the Shops at Canal Place (part of the Canal Place Heritage Area), the gallery showcases a unique mix of handmade art and craft. Featured work includes jewelry, pottery, woodwork, photography, watercolor paintings, fiber art, and much more! Be sure to check out the rotating "featured artist" exhibitions in the upstairs loft. Periodically, co-op members also offer classes and workshops. Credit cards are accepted and shipping is available.
Arts at Canal Place is open every day from 10AM-6PM, with extended hours until 8PM on Fridays and Saturdays from May-October, and during special events. Arts at Canal Place is a program of the Allegany Arts Council. For more information, please call 301-777-8199.
